Elizabeth Alpern is a Professor of Pediatrics, Division Head of Emergency Medicine, and Associate Chair for Faculty Development in the Department of Pediatrics of the Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is both a pediatric emergency physician and clinical epidemiologist with research expertise in the use of large databases within research networks to improve the quality of emergent care delivered to children through application of evidence-based work. Sherif M Badawy

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

My primary area of interest clinically is children and adolescents with chronic health conditions, including sickle cell disease (SCD), thalassemia, hemophilia, acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology)

Dr. Cornicelli is a board certified pediatric cardiologist with subspecialty training in non-invasive advanced imaging. His clinical efforts focus on providing care to patients with congenital heart disease, serving as a general pediatric cardiologist, and utilizing his imaging expertise to collaborate with his catheterization and surgical colleagues to enhance outcomes in congenital heart disease patients undergoing interventions. Patrick J Myers

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Neonatology)

Dr. Myers is the Fellowship Director of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Lurie Children's Hospital and Northwestern University. He trained as a pediatrics resident and neonatology fellow at the University of Chicago. Dr. Myers is the Chair Elect of the Organization of Neonatal Program Directors. He was selected to represent the Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine education community on the Council of Pediatric Subspecialists  by the American Academy of Pediatrics section of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He is a recipient of the Northwestern Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship faculty teaching award.
