Debra Weese-Mayer

Professor of Pediatrics (Critical Care)

Debra E. Weese-Mayer, M.D. is the Beatrice Cummings Mayer Professor in Pediatric Autonomic Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and Chief of the first Center for Autonomic Medicine in Pediatrics (CAMP) at Lurie Children’s Hospital. Dr. Weese-Mayer is recognized internationally for her clinical and research work in the emerging discipline of pediatric autonomic medicine and is a lead translational researcher at Ann & Robert H. Denise M Goodman

Professor of Pediatrics (Critical Care)

Dr. Goodman obtained her undergraduate degree from Niagara University (BS Physics and BA Chemistry) and her Medical Degree from State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her pediatrics residency at Children's Hospital Medical Center, Cincinnati, Ohio, and pediatric critical care medicine fellowship at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. She was a faculty member at the University of Minnesota before coming to Northwestern University Feinberg SOM. She has continued to pursue additional training. Rachel S Bercovitz

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation)

Dr. Bercovitz is triple boarded in general pediatrics, pediatric hematology/oncology, and transfusion medicine.

Nichole L McCaffrey

Instructor of Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

Dr. McCaffrey is a Pediatric Hospitalist in the Division of Hospital-Based Medicine and an Instructor of Pediatrics at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Her clinical work focuses on the care of hospitalized children at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, neonates at Prentice Women's Hospital, and the management of unexpected, non-emergency illnesses and injuries at Immediate Care. She has a strong interest and commitment to the advancement of medical education on all levels.

Jami L Josefson

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Endocrinology)

I am a physician scientist with a research interest in the developmental origins of obesity. I study metabolism in pregnancy and the near and long-term metabolic outcomes in children. My long-term goal is to facilitate early intervention to prevent obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Darren E Eblovi

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Hospital-Based Medicine)

I was raised and attended high school in Boulder, Colorado. I studied economics and Spanish at DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana until 2004, where I played on the tennis team and played piano in the jazz ensembles. I served in the Peace Corps in El Salvador with the Rural Health and Sanitation Program from 2006-08. I earned an MD/MPH from the University of Colorado, and completed residency in pediatrics from the University of Chicago in 2016.

Kelly N Michelson

Professor of Pediatrics (Critical Care)

Kelly Michelson, MD, MPH is Professor of Pediatrics, Julia and David Uihlein Professor of Bioethics and Medical Humanities, and Director of the Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She is an attending physician at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in the division of pediatric critical care medicine.

Jessica Teresa Fry

Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Neonatology)

I study the experiences of families who have children hospitalized in a neonatal intensive care unit.  My focus is on medical decision-making and the interactions of families with medical providers in the process of that decision-making. I also have an interest in how social media may impact medical information and decisions.  In addition to this research and my work as a clinical neonatologist, I also work with the Lurie Bridges Pediatric Palliative Care team to provide palliative care consultation and support in the perinatal and neonatal populations.

Peter R Koenig

Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Cardiology)

As a clinical educator, my goals are to combine my clinical interests in general pediatric cardiology as well as more specialized clinical expertise in echocardiography and exercise medicine, with my interests in fellow education.
